From the farm to the dining table

You can tell which Tallegg farm the broiler meat came from by looking at the packaging of Tallegg’s fresh meat, because each package has the name of the farm where the meat comes from.

The chickens are reared on 6 broiler farms owned by Tallegg, located mainly in Northern Estonia, as close as possible to the Tabasalu meat processing plant. In broiler breeding, the sex of the bird is irrelevant and both chicken and cockerel are reared with equal value. Broilers take between 37 and 38 days to raise, at which time they weigh 2.36 kg.
