Tallegg is the only domestic poultry producer, which has been in business as long as since 1956. The Tabasalu plant was renovated in 2013 and is a production unit of the size of 13,000 square meters, which employs around 200 people. Uncooked cooled and frozen meat products, marinated meat, roasted and smoked meat products, roulades, hams, sausages, and snacks are produced at the Tabasalu meat processing plant. Tallegg has 6 broiler farms that are mainly located in the close vicinity of Tallinn.
